Document Shredding Service | Response Time
When people select their document shredding company, they aren’t always sure what questions to ask or how to find the best service provider. This post is the first of several we are posting in order to inform the consumer of what to look for in a quality document shredding provider.
At Global Document Shredding, we receive several calls per day in which we receive a multitude of document shredding service related questions. Some callers are first timers with little to no information, and some callers are seasoned office administrators who have dealt with shredding and records management companies for years.
The most common question? You guessed it. “What are the costs?” This, is by the way, a great question, but I myself would pose the question differently – something we will discuss in a later post.
There is one question that we do not get very often during the selection process when we are being considered as a candidate among other shredding service providers: “What is your typical response time?” Response time typically becomes one of the most important aspects of a shredding company’s service quality. Trust us on this one; In our business, the number one way to lose reputation (aside from security concerns) is to not show up in a reasonable amount of time.
At Global Document Shredding, while we can’t be everywhere at once, we try our best to keep a 1-2 day response time for client document shredding requests, and we can occasionally respond the same day. Our response time is one of our main advantages over the competition, and we maintain a goal of holding response time as a priority.
In further posts on Finding The Best Document Shredding Company, we will dive into more of the key ingredients behind the best document shredding services.
