FAQs Q: How can I be sure the process is secure?
A: Global is a NAID Member Company, meaning we are accountable to document shredding best practices regarding process and ethical standards. All of your paper will be shred on-site where you can see the process. After being shred and compacted at your location, the documents will go to recycling where they will be pulpified(turned into liquid) and ultimately recycled into new consumer paper products!
Q: How fast can you come shred our documents or pick up documents for scanning or storage?
A: In almost all cases we can respond within 24 to 48 hours for service.
Q: Do I need to separate items prior to shredding?
A: No need to separate hanging folders, binder clips, paper clips or staples, or discs – we’ll shred right through them! Please do take out any large metal objects including 3-ring binders, hard drives, etc. Please ask if unsure!
Q: What form of payment do you accept?
A: Check, Credit Card, or Cash On Site! Invoice acceptable for recurring account clients.
Q: Will my paper be recycled?
A: 100% of all paper destroyed by Global is subsequently recycled. For every ton of paper recycled, 17 trees are saved!
